The Short Version
Every paid plan comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you subscribe to Operator or Architect and decide it’s not right for you within the first 7 days, email us and we’ll refund the charge in full. No questions, no forms.
What Qualifies
You’re eligible for a full refund if all of these are true:
- You subscribed to Operator ($49/mo) or Architect ($129/mo) within the last 7 calendar days
- You have not already received a refund on this account
- Your account is in good standing (not suspended for misuse)
The 7-day window starts on the date your first charge posts, not the date you registered. If you started a free trial and then converted to paid, the window starts on the day of conversion.
What Doesn’t Qualify
- Requests submitted more than 7 calendar days after the charge date
- Partial-month refunds for mid-cycle cancellations (outside the 7-day window)
- Accounts suspended for violations of the Terms of Service
- Second or subsequent refund requests on the same account
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not itself trigger a refund. You’ll retain access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Annual Billing
Annual plan refunds follow the same 7-day window. If you paid for a full year and request a refund within 7 days of that charge, we will refund the full annual amount. After 7 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable.
Free Trial
The 7-day Operator trial is free. No credit card is required to start a trial. If you are on the free trial and you cancel before it converts to paid, nothing is charged and no refund applies.
If you did not cancel before the trial ended and were charged, that charge falls under the standard 7-day refund window starting from the date the charge posted.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically over the following days. During a failed-payment window, your access may be restricted. Once payment processes successfully, your access is restored. The refund policy applies to successful charges only, not payment attempts.
How to Request
Email support@signalalchemist.com from the address on your account. Include:
- Subject: “Refund Request”
- The email address you used to sign up
- The charge date (found on your Stripe receipt)
- Your reason (optional, always appreciated)
We process refunds manually and will confirm by email within one business day. The refund then takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
